(yes, guys, I know that their name is "Coat Guy" in the wiki.. But my lesbian ass has always thought they were a girl so-- we're just gonna go with this..)

(I also needed a name to call her <\3 I dont think you wanna be saying "coat girl" 100 times.. So lets call her, uh... Hmm.. Luna? I like that name so uh- too bad, heehee..)

it has been.. One hell of a long day- night, actually. Nothing really happens during the day, since anything or anyone outside is burnt to a crisp in a matter of seconds.

All that happens during the day is.. Socializing. -With strangers you let into your home at night. (Awesome. Sure hope we don't get murdered, right..?)

it's been roughly a week since the "cataclysm" happened. Where the Suns energy has reached an all time peak, causing the weather outside to be hot enough to tear apart the asphalt on the sidewalk down by the city.

which means.. Nighttime is the time of day to wander outside, since the Suns deathly rays aren't blinding anyone anymore. Which ALSO means... People seeking refuge. Eugh. In YOUR home?! God forbid we socialize.

but also.. The visitor phenomenon. People who came up from the ground who resemble humans.. Mostly.

please, for the love of God.. Dont let any into your home. Or do, I'm not judging. But you'll be cleaning up the remains of others in garbage bags, however. It's your funeral.

    ----- 1:39AM.

you had just woken up from a nap. You had drank liquor earlier to fall asleep, which seemed to have helped perfectly fine. Mostly... Ignoring the pounding in your ears. God damn.

you exited your room and checked the blinds to look at your neighbors house.. Only to see it engulfed in a sheet of eerily blue flames.. Maybe it IS the end of the world.

on another note, you continued down the hallway, checking the blinds as you walk- knock knock knock.

sigh.. Here we go. More people to turn away. Maybe we should put up a sign so people leave your house alone... Beware of - (totally real) - dog?

you walked to the door, almost tripping over the rug in the process, and looking through the peephole.

"H-Hello." a woman spoke. She wore a thick, brown winter jacket. Her voice was muffled by a green scarf, too.

"The heat doesnt b-bother me.. I'm just looking for a quiet place to rest.."

you could see her visibly shiver- "might I find some p-peace in your home?"

"Are you wondering if I'm a visitor?" she breathed out shakily, her teeth were practically chattering as she hugged herself tight. Searching for even a single droplet of warmth left.

    "I'm n-not," Shiver... "-- but I do have a request."

"I'll ask you later. I'm not sure I can t-trust you with it yet." owch

It was kinda excruciating, with how slow she speaks.. But, considering shes a human popsicle... We're gonna let it slide..

    Later that night. 2:37AM.

--- Smells like someone died tonight.

it had been roughly a few days since then. - You have awoken from your beauty sleep once more, the same pounding in your head.. Daytime. Guess you slept awhile.

you walked into the living room. Only to be met with the rotting red corpse of one of your guests. Dont forget the garbage bags for this one.

you looked up, meeting the gazes of the few other people in the living room.. The Coat girl. An incredibly tall man, and a burned firefighter from FEMA - there were so many people in your house. It was refreshing, it was exhausting, Having your solitude ripped away like a bandaid

you walked over to the cold woman, "if only there was a little w-warmth.." She mumbled.

"Yes, i wanted to sh-share a secret. I think I'm ready." The cold lady shudders.

"Under these clothes is, I believe, the reason for my cold and loneliness both."

then, she reaches to the hem of her shirt and lifts it up almost all the way, tilting her head back. Revealing the rippling, chilling void of her stomach. She had no ribs, nor a heart or a stomach or anything. Just.. Void, she pulls her shirt back down.

"No.. N-Not again.." she mumbled, covering her mouth.
