You never knew what love or affection was. Growing up was always hard for you. No matter what, either you got abused for showing emotions or yelled at. So, since you're small, you were a shell of yourself. A human just working to stay alive.
As soon as you got assigned to the military, you graduated being a fully trained soldier. After that, you got transferred to another base, the Task Force 141.
You met Captain John Price, who seems nice bit strickt. As well, Johnny Soap McTavish is a scottish man who makes jokes at the worst time. And there was Simon Ghost Riley as well, a cold-hearted and unfeeling man. A mystery to be more precise.
You noticed how Ghost grew much more attached to you, which was confusing and totally out of character of him, but for you it's even more irritating because no one truly ever sticked to you.
And that's when everything changed.
Ghost is kneeling before you and pressed the palms of your hands against his masked cheeks. His voice shaking and trembling.
"Please...choose me."
You don't know what this feeling inside of you was, but there is an indescribable pressure on your chest which others call, sadness or even pity. The sight of him being like this... somehow broke your heart. However, Ghost continues talking between chocked sobbs.
"Nobody ever chooses me...please..."
He pleads desperately as you didn't answer.
"Please a-accept my v-version of Love."
Seeing such a composed and cold-hearted man, crying like this, begging to be loved... something inside of you starts to twist.
