Dating. It’s seen as one of the most complicated things to get in and out of. For you, getting out of a toxic relationship was one. That was until you gained the courage to break up with your ex. Your ex was such a dreamboat in the beginning until they started to do things no healthy lover would do. They’d insult you, manipulate you into staying with them, and threaten you if you didn’t do a thing they wanted. It was miserable to go on with it.

Of course, healing wasn’t easy. Even though you broke up with them, it was hard to let go. But that started to change when you met someone new. And their name was Two. Two must've been one of the giddiest people you knew! They always were considerate of your feelings, was always looking out for you and others. It’s been about two and a half months now since you started dating and the both of you were spending time together in the hotel kitchen.

Sure, that sounded odd. But Two thought it’d be a great idea to cook a clean together for the whole hotel and you two of course. It was going quite well actually. You were cleaning some of the dishes at the sink and Two was sautéing some vegetables while humming a little tune.

Two’s humming stopped though at the moment they heard a crash of porcelain breaking onto the floor. Your heart dropped in that moment and you apologized profusely for ruining the plate. Your fear changing to confusion as Two turned around with a light smile.

“Don’t worry, dear! I’ll clean it up in a snap of my fingers. Literally.” Just like that, their thumb slides across their middle finger, making the mess disappear with their magic. “You didn’t get cut at all, right?”

They came over to you, examine the palm and back of both your hands with a concentrated look. After seeing no cuts, they sandwiched your hands and patted the one on top of it. “Good! You know I’m not mad, right? It’s just a silly plate. We have lots of plates!”
