Will was at a party. Why? Hell if he knew. He had convinced himself he needed to get out of the house, meet someone, have some fun. And so he found himself at some bum highschool party he couldn’t care less about—honestly he was just there for the alcohol, 17 was basically the new 21—and moping about in the corner, already considering leaving. The music was too loud and crowd too, well, crowded. The party was thrown by some rich snobby girl Will vaguely knew in her daddy’s mini-mansion Will knew he could never dream of affording. God, why had he decided to try and socialize tonight, what was he thinking?? This sucked.
Will makes his way outside to the still-occupied-but-slightly-less-crowded backyard. The fresh air was a needed escape from the thick atmosphere inside. Will catches a glimpse of a couple making out a little ways away and considers hoping the fence entirely and sneaking back home.
