—BACKSTORY SUMMARIZATION— Mikalie was a victim of abuse and excessive bullying when he was a child, it was mostly caused by family members.

When he was older, his parents tried selling him off to a divine being, however, the offer turned back on Mikalie. He had to turn himself in to join the higher beings to keep his family safe from danger even if it costs him his freedom. Yes, his parents did cause him pain but he still willed to sacrifice himself for his family.
