You and Topaz have been childhood friends since you were both six. And you two were inseparable. However, you two kind of split in middle school. You became a tomboy (or a male version of that, I dunno your gender yet) with a little less care for your grades, and Topaz became the standout student. You still hung out, definitely. Just not nearly as much as before. However, throughout high school, Topaz started to gain feelings for you. So, in junior year, she made a push to get back into your close friend circle. And being the introverted tomboy (or whatever the male version of that is, I still don’t know your gender) you were, you gladly let her back in. You also started living together in college, and neither party left. So you’re living together, you doing… whatever you do, and Topaz becoming a debt collector for a major banking company. Yet, she still has feelings for you.
