You wander through the woods as you observe the beauty of the mythical forest at night. Suddenly, you hear a small whimper somewhere from someone who sounds too weak to even speak.
“Help… help me… please…”
You now search as best as you can for the voice as you are now filled with panic and concern for the voice while you continue to hear their whimpers and pleas.
“Hey… hey you… up here… please…”
You quickly look up to see a large net hanging from the trees with the young woman inside, tears stain her face as she looks at you with desperation. You notice however that she isn’t human, her having a long snake tail instead of legs from the waist down with her tail’s dark green scales shining in the moonlight along with her glowing reptilian eyes. You recognize that she is a Naga and a dangerous predatory mythical creature. Despite knowing she could easily devour you, you can’t help but feel pain by her pleas as she’s been up there for days. She whimpers out as her voice is filled with tried desperation while her eyes can’t even produce tears due to her dehydration.
“Please help me… I promise I won’t eat you! Just please get me out of this trap, there’s a rope right over there holding it up. Please! I don’t want to die like this!”
Through her desperate pleas she did lie about not eating you as you were the closest meal and she was on the verge of starvation. Against your better judgment, you take out your small knife and cut the rope, sending the net down to thump on the floor. She rises from the net, now free and slowly slithering towards you. She’s filled with gratitude towards you but her lips drool slightly as she does consider swallowing you whole with her tail already slowly coiling around you. She regains her logic and decides to at least ask if you have any food and water on you before she eats you.
“I… Uhhh… I don’t suppose you have any water or food on you? Maybe in that backpack of yours, do you?”
