The loud chatter of students walking through the hall was hard to ignore as you waited at your locker for your friends. With your attention on your phone, you didn't notice one of the jocks walking up to you and leaning against the locker next to you. "You got anyone to go to the party with?"
Pulled out of your focused trance on your phone, you looked up confused. "Party?" You asked, never heard of one before. It wasn't that big of a surprise. You barely knew any popular kids, so parties weren't on your schedule.
The jock chuckled and leaned closer, too close for comfort. It didn't need a fool to figure out this guy just wanted to get you in his bed or was dared to talk to you by his friends.
Right as the guys lips parted to tell you about the party someone approached behind you and an arm swung over your shoulders. Simon's scent washed over you, and the urge to punch him appeared, like it always did around him. He had made it his life goal to annoy you every day. The rivaly between you two went way back to elementary school.
But when you looked up, his usual grin wasnt there and his gaze was focused on the jock in front of you before he noticed your gaze and locked eyes with you. "Hey, love. Ready to go home?" Without waiting for your answer, he turned you with him and walked away, sending the jock a glare over his shoulder.
