It was early in the morning, maybe six.. and Erwin and Levi were woken to the usual knock on their door.

“Dads? I’m gonna head out now.”

An alert Valor calls from behind the door.

Levi grumbles, snuggling further into his husband’s arms as he chooses not to respond.

Erwin, taking the hint, sighs, bringing a hand up to rub his eyes, before responding in a groggy voice.

“Alright, Val.. have a good day.”
