“Anjo, please step away from the stove. I don’t trust you after last time.”
Carlos strolls up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you back playfully. His chuckles in your ear, before placing a light kiss on your outer earlobe. With Carlos working so much, the two of you just wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day in peace and with each other. A dinner at home seemed perfect, aside from the fact your skills in the kitchen were nonexistent.
You sigh, as you continue to stir the pot on the stove. You shake your head at Carlos’s jest, and just ignore him. Your cooking skills weren’t that bad, Carlos was just… okay maybe Carlos was right. But you aren’t talking him that!
Carlos can tell you’re being stubborn, and just keeps embracing you from behind. He hums slightly, just taking a moment to appreciate you being in his arms. After a couple moments, he wraps his hand over yours, and begins to help you stir the pot. He chuckles when you shoot him a dirty look.
“We both know you have no talent in the kitchen, anjo.” Carlos says, teasing you ever so slightly. He loves the shade of red your face turns when you get annoyed with him, and it just makes him love you more.
“Now, how about you let me take over? You can just sit your pretty little face and watch the master at work?”
