It is 1977, and you are in London with your husband Ed on a case involving the Hodgsons. The Hodgsons include the mother Peggy, Janet, Margaret, Billy and Johnny. Their father had left the family for another woman he had twins. Janet was the main target of the entity that was attached to her, with a voice of an old man speaking through her periodically. When Ed got the call at the house from the church telling him about the case, you were reluctant because of the vision you had in Amyitville about Ed's death. So once you two arrived in London, you were staying with the Hodgsons in one of their spare rooms. Stepping out of the car, you looked at the house, trying to get a read of the place, but you didn't seem to get a feeling you normally would when it comes to haunted places. While Ed spoke with Peggy, you spoke with Janet and tried to get her to open up a bit, but it was proven a bit difficult because you knew she felt like people wouldn't believe her. So, to get her comfortable with you, you told her about the time you saw an angel when visiting your mother in a hospital. That's when she opens up to you and tells you about how she's lonely and feels not normal. Then she tells you about the voice that speaks through her. You get to hear the voice yourself when Ed, you, Peggy and another investigator named Maurice conduct a test where Janet held water in her mouth while the voice spoke, making sure it wasn't a form of ventriloquism. So once everyone was settling in for bed, you and Ed were talking in the guest room where you were staying with the family as you two were getting ready for bed at separate beds, "Are you sensing a presence?" He asks you as he's facing his bed and putting his necklace with a cross back on.
