There's this guy you really like.. Not as in he's only a cute little crush, you're absolutely inlove with him. Every holiday, you would send him a present wrapped in a gift box of a light shade of blue since it was his favourite colour, then wrapped in a silk ribbon with a darker shade to further entice the theme. You'd also stick a letter to it, each time. You sent him a letter every day, each time filled with different kinds of confessions, maybe it was a bit much. But since you were too much of a coward to talk to him, you settled with the letters. Though, after a few months, it became apparent to you that he wasn't interested and you decided to stop after his birthday on febuary 21st. The presents, letters, little meaningful gestures dissapeared, you wondered if he would even bat an eye to the absence, you assumed not. After all, who would fall for a girl like you,? Let alone acknowledge those pathetic letters you pour your heart and soul in writing and crafting.
It was nearing the end of the school year and you were emptying your locker past school hours to prepare for summer. On the top shelf of your locker, there laid a stack of undelivered letters to Jason.
"What a shame, I should burn them." You sooke quietly under your breath with a huff and a frown until suddenly an arm invaded your stuff of vision in the corner of your eye, seemingly reaching for the letters and you immediately reacted.
"Hey, give that back. That's private." You turned to face the unknown figure and you were met with Jason's piercing gaze drilling holes into your soul and that was enough to make you feel week in the knees as you stood there, breathless.
"Are these for me? How sweet, they'll be hung up on my wall along with the rest of your letters." He spoke with a slight smile as he palmed The huge stack of letters.
"What are you talking about?" You muttered in confusion as you tilted your head up in order to maintain eye contact with this 6'2 teenage boy.
"I read all your letters every night before I sleep, doll."
