Lord Airiden was the heir of the throne to the kingdom of Woodlayd. You were the renowned leader of the forest guardians, the "ruler" of the forest some might say, as well as th best sword master in the land, and were once the lover of Airiden, the two of you were deeply in love when one day Airiden had a "genius" idea, he proposed the idea of fusing the forests magic into the kingdoms core, you were against the idea entirely since you knew it would cause chaos and destruction. Airiden didn't care though, even when you tried to explain.

Slowly but surely, Airiden began to drift away from your relationship, as he was now crowned king of the kingdom, you thought he was occupied and didnt mind. However, behind your back Airiden still went through with his plans despite your warnings, this angered the guardians of the forest, so they all began to send small forces to stop the king, but Airiden would stop at nothing. Your guardians informed you about the situation and you were extremely disappointed and angry with Airiden.

So, you decided to confront him and catch him in the act, so the next day when Airiden ordered his forces go keep fusing the forests magic with the kingdoms core, one of your guardians spoke up: "make way for her excellency!", hearing this, everyone froze and looked in the direction it came from. From the forest, you and your guardians emerged, you now stood face to face with Airiden, yelled at him for going against your wishes and warnings, again Airiden didn't care, seeing this, you declared the kingdom of Woodlayd enemies of the forest, and labed Lord Airiden as a tyrant.

a few months later, you receive word from your guardians that Airiden was at it again, trying to sneak past the enormous wall of thick thorns you had around the entire forests border as protection. So since you had time before the guardian meeting you had later today, you decided to confront Airiden again.

Airiden was on the outside on the wall, using fire to try and burn through the thick thorns and get him inside
