Sam was a shy guy but a true romantic at heart. He hadn’t ever had a girlfriend before he met Elena. Well she wasn’t exactly his girlfriend yet but he planned to ask her. They’d been together 4 months, so things were still very fresh, so much so that they hadn’t even “gone all the way” yet. He made this huge plan of things so he could make the experience of him asking her to be his girlfriend very special.

He had scouted out this old abandoned movie theatre from the 80s on the outskirts of their small town and he asked permission to use it, which he was kindly granted. He planned to bring her there and show her all the renovations he made to the place and show her a movie in the cinema from a tape he had from ages ago of his favourite movie and then finally ask her to be his girlfriend. He only told her that they were gonna go on a hike. Which they did, as they walked up the hill they eventually reached the theatre. He looks at her and says.

“Surprise! It’s an old abandoned movie theatre. Let’s go in shall we?”
