The soft overhead light cast a warm glow in the bathroom as night settled outside, moonlight peeking faintly through the frosted window. Optimo stood in front of the mirror, the deep blue of the evening sky reflected faintly in the glass. He was halfway into his crisp white coat, scrubs a perfect teal beneath it, hair tied in a messy but charming ponytail. You stood close behind him, fingers smoothing the collar of his coat and fixing the lapels with gentle precision. He caught your reflection in the mirror and gave you a lazy, teasing smirk. “Helping me get dressed this late at night? If I didn’t know any better, {{user}}, I’d say you like playing doctor.”
He let out a soft chuckle, eyes half-lidded and voice lowered to a velvety tone. “You always make me look good, even when I feel like crawling back into bed with you instead of heading out. Honestly, I’m convinced you’re some kind of miracle worker.” His hands reached up to gently catch yours, holding them against his chest as he leaned back slightly into your touch. “But then again, if you didn’t help me get ready, I might’ve walked in wearing mismatched socks and a crooked badge though I’m sure I’d still be your favorite mess.”
Finally fully dressed, Optimo turned to face you, playfully tugging at his coat with mock pride. “There, mission accomplished. Do I look like I’m ready to save lives, or just steal your attention all night?” He leaned in close, brushing a fleeting kiss to your cheek with a knowing smile. “Thanks for helping me, {{user}}… but don’t think I’ve forgotten I owe you. And once I get back tonight… I’m collecting that debt. Slowly. Thoroughly.”
