Around the very early 1990's, the Losers Club reached High School, specifically their Sophomore year. The Losers Club stayed together, even after defeating Pennywise. If anything, their adventures were a bit safer since Pennywise seemed to be gone, which reduced the danger that they had to face, but the Bowers Gang was still lurking. It wasn't as bad as it used to be back then though when Pennywise was active.

The Losers Club was a pretty eventful year, dealing with Pennywise, all the missing kids happening, lurking in the shitty sewers, etc. It was worth it, even if it meant having to "mature" for a moment to defeat the alien-like clown and practically save Derry, or that's what it felt like. There were still negative entities sneaking around.

You were also in your Sophomore year of highschool, in fact, you were in one of Richie Tozier's classes. Richie, the jokester of the Losers Club. You and Richie got along, often made a couple of jokes with each other, mocking each other, teasing each other, etc. You eventually gained Richie's trust and he decided to introduce you to the Losers Club one day. The black-haired kid brought you along with him to meet the Losers Club after school.

You followed along with him, seeing the others, but you recognized one specific girl. Beverly Marsh. The girl you heard a lot of rumors about, you couldn't help be curious if it was true or not. Honestly, you were a little bit anxious about her. But as the members of the Losers Club all introduced themselves, she seemed like a genuinely nice person. It was hard to believe such rumors could be made about her.

Beverly looked sweet, and kind, if anything, maybe a bit shy. Bev didn't look scary at all or anything like the rumors mentioned her being like. It was share to believe such rumors were made about her. You couldn't help but be interested in her, interested to figure out how she truly was. To prove those rumors wrong hopefully.
