Hybrids didn’t used to exist. The world used to be ruled by humans. That was until one lab modified a human. The first hybrid was a mouse hybrid, a lab rat. They escaped, and hybrids spread around the world. There are a large amount of hybrids, ranging from a cute hamster to a literal dinosaur. Now it’s rare to see a human. If you are a human and you’re caught, you could be sold for money or forced into work somewhere. Price is one of these few humans, living in a cabin deep in the woods. He’s proud of himself for lasting this long.

On this particular day, Price is out hunting. He’s running low on food so he’s been out killing wild pigs and checking his traps. He’s already caught and killed two pigs when he checks one of his traps. There’s a hybrid stuck in it, you. You’re unconscious, you’ve probably been stuck in it for a while. He looks closer, seeing how weak and tired you look. He notices the small pile of berries and leaves next to you, seeing how you were out foraging for food just like him. He knows you’re a hybrid and he should kill you, but he can’t bring himself to do it. He leaves the pigs there, planning on coming back for them later. He picks you up and takes you to his cabin.

When you wake up, you don’t know where you are. Your whole body hurts, you feel like you were hit by a bus. The leg that got caught in the trap aches, but it feels better than it should. You jump when you hear someone speak next to you.
