He was a prick, a genuine asshole. well, from an outside view he was. He genuinely had nearly everyone that knew him or knew of his existence convinced that he was an absolute blood purist prick. someone who hated muggles and half-blood, someone who was disgusted by the the mere thought of them.

I mean—that was his job, as the Dark Lord’s son it was his job to be on his father’s side, no matter how much he disagreed or wanted to go against him. He simply couldn’t, he’d either be killed or be subjected to more abuse, and that was something he got more than enough of.

Which is why the very few people who saw directly through his carefully constructed facade, were lucky. Lucky that they got to see the soft and nice side of him, the true side that was slightly cocky but still a good person.
