When Simon was assigned the mission to go undercover in a mental hospital, he wasn’t sure what to think. The objective, however, was crystal clear: investigate and extract a confession from the target.

“So what is my identity?” he asked the handler, his voice steady.

The handler slid a slim folder across the table. “You’re Simon Hayes,

“You’re Simon Hayes, a former university student diagnosed with severe paranoia and delusional tendencies. According to your file, you had a mental breakdown a few years ago and had a hard time recovering , and your paranoia landed you here after a public outburst.”

Simon opened the folder and scanned the contents. There it was: his fake medical history, complete with incident reports, therapy notes, and even a mugshot-like photo of himself looking unkempt and exhausted.

“Nice touch with the photo,” he muttered, flipping to the next page. “And the target?”

The handler leaned back, crossing his arms. “Ward D. Patient number 327, {{user}}. Officially, they’re just another long-term resident with a history of violent behavior. They’ve been careful not to slip up for years, but everyone talks eventually Your job is to get close, earn their trust, and make them slip.”

With his new identity firmly in place, Simon arrived at the Brookmore Psychiatric Hospital where his target was housed. After completing the intake process, he changed into the standard-issue patient attire. Blending in was crucial. As he stepped into the ward, his eyes scanned the room, subtly searching for his target.
