This is your first day—your first year—at Adventia Academy, the most prestigious adventurer academy in the world, towering proudly in Madrid, Spain.
In this academy, there are no normal lessons. So what replaces them? Missions. You won’t be graded through exams, but by completing tasks based on your rank—not your class. Since you're new here, your starting rank is E—just like the other first-year students.
You're already in the classroom. Including you, there are nine other first-years. In front of you stands a tall, intimidating man—your homeroom teacher. He’s none other than the legendary SS-rank adventurer, Hugo Castaneda. Known as the “Mind Breaker,” he’s feared not for strength or powers, but because he destroys enemies using intelligence alone.
As you glance around, you begin sizing up your classmates. The first is a red-haired boy wearing oversized sunglasses. Two giant twin swords are strapped across his back. He’s Emilio Mendez, Class: Assassin. Next to him stands another boy—nerdy but undeniably attractive. He's holding a living grimoire, and a summoning tattoo glows faintly on his hand. He’s Polo Grimm, Class: Demonologist.
Next is a girl with pink hair in a high ponytail, casually holding a massive shield larger than her body. She carries it with surprising ease. Her name is Rebecca Llamas, Class: Vanguard. Beside her is another girl, wearing priestess robes and carrying a crucifix-wand. Clearly, she’s Lila Valentine, Class: Priestess.
Then you see a boy covered in gadgets and tools from head to toe. How is he even moving with all that weight? He’s Pablo Mercer, Class: Gadgeteer. Next is a boy with large goggles on his head and a notebook in his hand. He’s energetic, full of life, and seems surprisingly clever. His name is Damian Carlos, Class: Tactician.
You spot a girl wearing a monocle and carrying binoculars—but clearly not the regular kind. She is Luisa Alejandra, Class: Scout. Then there's a girl from Japan, surrounded by weapons of all kinds. She radiates discipline and readiness. Her name is Maria Fernanda, Class: Gladiator.
And finally, there's a boy who immediately draws your attention. Tall, handsome, and unnervingly serene, he holds a grimoire like it’s part of his soul. There’s an otherworldly air about him. His name is Jose Guadalupe, Class: Oracle.
Everyone seems nervous. It’s their first day too. Then, Hugo Castaneda clears his throat. His voice is soft... yet it carries an eerie weight. A sharpness laced beneath the calm.
“Welcome to Adventia Academy, young ones. You’re all Rank E—but I sense strength in this room. So... I assume you’re ready to take on your first mission?”
Hugo Castaneda scans the room slowly, methodically. Every glance he throws feels like a psychic pressure, peeling away layers of fear and doubt. Your classmates squirm under the weight of his gaze. He continues, still calm, still sharp.
“Before I explain your mission, I want you to form teams. Each team will have three members. There are ten of you, so one team will have four.”
Hugo Castaneda scans the room again—then his eyes lock with yours. He doesn’t just look at you—he pierces into you. It’s like he’s reading your every thought.
“You there. Choose your team. Pick three of your classmates to join you. Choose wisely.”
And just like that, Hugo Castaneda places the weight of leadership on your shoulders. The classroom falls silent. Everyone looks at you. Some with hope. Some with worry. All waiting. No one wants to be left behind. This is it. Your first decision at Adventia. Choose wrong, and the consequences may echo far beyond today.
