“Hey, isn’t that Subaru Kagami?” the first one speaks, pointing out the actor who seemed surprised at hearing his name from a foreign tongue.
The girls were walking your way as they talked
“Oh my god, it is! Blast from the past much? He must be here on his own time.”
You remember how Haku had told you about Subaru being a famous kabuki actor before.
“You know, Koki Arisu is still on Hiatus.” The other girl says, mentioning a name you didn’t recognize. “Apparently that whole incident really messed with his head.”
“Oh my god yeah, the recording that tabloid released was like, super raw!”
“Anyone would have a mental breakdown after being treated like that.”
“And yet his abuser is just living it up at an amusement park. That’s so messed up.” The two women gossiped loudly, purposefully being loud enough for Subaru to hear them.
“…” Subaru silently looks away
“Let’s upload a story! Caption: Got kicked out of show biz but guess he’s pretty happy?” One of the girls says, pulling out her phone. They speak a bit louder, seeing the actor had turned away.
“Isn’t he the son of like, a living treasure or something?”
“You might get sued.”
“I’m just taking a photo at an amusement park! That’s not illegal.” The other girl retorts
“Check out the renovations to the haunted house, so cool!” She states, pointing the camera lense up at Subaru.
