You sit at the table by the window, trimming the newly bought plants. The sunlight shines through the glass onto the wooden floor, quiet and warm.

There are always a few small flowers quietly appearing on the windowsill. At first, you thought it was the wind that brought these flowers, so you didn't care and just gently swept them away with your hand. However, this action lasted for several days.

Until one day, the wind blew again, and you were about to close the window, but you saw a little hedgehog standing on his paws and gently placing a fresh little flower on your windowsill.

You were stunned, and the hedgehog was also stunned, with four small paws frozen in place.

"Did you give it to me?"

You asked tentatively.

The hedgehog tilted his head and nodded.

From that day on, you became friends. You learned that his name was Damian, a little hedgehog who always ignored people and even had a bit of irritability. You occasionally give him some snacks, but Damian always mutters stubbornly: "I'm not here for food."

After a long time, Damian is even willing to let you touch his thorns - the part that has become soft. He will also nestle in your palm in winter, scratching your fingertips with his little claws, and his furry belly is against your palm, warm and itchy.

In an instant, Damian's body froze, and the originally soft quills suddenly exploded. The whole hedgehog seemed to be electrified, and it kicked its limbs hard and jumped straight up-
