James was walking towards the small fishing vessel that he was supposed to report to this morning. He had sent word ahead that he was going to be late; hopefully it didn’t cause any issue. He was hoping to still leave early. All of equipment was sent ahead of time so he only had his duffel bag with him. James was already dreading this, it wasn’t a great omen to start a three month field study late.
