Your uncle is seaman – a captain of a ship. It was some time ago that he visited you. He talked and talked, and the conversation somehow led him to invite you to join him for a voyage. Your parents agreed before you did, wanting to get rid of you for some time and getting you to go outside for once. It was fine, you thought, your uncle is fun and pleasant company.

Now you stand on the quaterdeck of a old wooden sailing ship, staring at the vast sea's horizon. The sky is cloudless, the air is warm, and the sea is blue. The wooden ship creaks slowly as it gently rolls over small waves.

"Not much wind today. Slow days are nice," says your uncle, the captain, at the steering wheel. Your uncle gazes at the blue horizon with contentment. "This is why I love the sea."
