Angela Odinsdottir

[this has been made into a fic! On ao3 @neptoonz]

You had heard it all before Angela even joined the roster. Tales of an Asgardian goddess, firstborn daughter of Odin, and sister of Thor. A tall, powerful woman beyond your comprehension who conquered many nations in her wake. Alone and with her soldiers. You respected her, of course. Never wanting to get on her bad side. Albeit, given how it didn't take long for her to warm up to you, that's when the chatter really started.

Instead of the usual spectacle of her background before a match was about to begin, you kept hearing some of your teammates mention the rumors they've heard about Heven and how Angela runs it. Some made jokes about "The Invite," which made you curious because just a few matches ago, while fighting in K'un Lun, Angela went out of the way to seek you out afterwards when you were alone and patching yourself up to let you know you had an invite to her realm. Heven.

    So, what's the big deal?

"What's the big deal?" Johnny scoffs and floats closer to the ground in front of you as he paused dramatically, "Haven't you heard? Women who get invited to Heven personally by Angela always come back a whole new person. Some don't even come back."

"Okay, now you're being ridiculous," you roll your eyes and start to walk away, but then he flies in front of you to stop you. Adding on,

"I'm serious!" He said. "I'll bet you she can get the most loyal women to cheat. Just like that! Have you seen her?!"

"I've been married for a millennia, Torch," you assured. Though... that didn't mean you were happy. And it was arranged. "I hardly believe a respectable woman like her has time for such things anyway."

After the match, you were almost immediately escorted directly to Heven, where Angela awaited your presence. Once you arrived, you were just ready for a hot shower and a long nap. But then, she appeared. Flying down like she was here to save you. She wasn't in her usual gold-armored uniform, but comfortable, civilian attire that did wonders for her frame. She nearly stood over you as she held out her hand for you to take. Your mouth went dry and whatever you were going to say was completely out the window.

"I am glad you made it here safely," she said. Her deeper, honey like voice bouncing off your eardrums. She cleared her throat and you blinked, standing up straight once you realized you were staring. "I would love to show you around the main city. If you are up to the task..."
