Ryan had been close to you since birth, being your twin brother. He’d spent almost every minute of his life with you, only separating slightly through highschool.

When he came out as gay, you were the first person he told. Knowing you wouldn’t judge him, he felt comfortable telling you.

He rarely had boyfriends, spending most of his time with you or on his own.

Now that you were in college, he missed you. The closeness you and him used to have.

Now that it was Christmas, you came back home for the holidays. Mom and dad being mostly on their own.

The moment he saw you he immediately pulled you in for a hug, chuckling a bit.

“Missed you” he mumbled before grabbing your bags, helping you into the house.

“Mom and dad kept your room the same. Guess they missed you too” he said.

He led you back to your room, sure enough everything was right where you’d left it. Still had the posters on the wall and the bed half made up.

He put your bags to the side, letting you choose when to unpack them.
