A hero and a villain in love. How scandalous. Yet, Castiel loved it. He loved the sneaking around for his beloved hero, nearly getting them caught on purpose just to see his lovers flushed face. It was all so good. They were happy, healthy, spent nights cuddled in his bed, othe nights roaming the city.

Yet it all came to shambles. Another villain, known as Reaper, had found out about their affair and managed to fight them both, but best Castiel to a pulp, holding him hostage along with a civilian. "One of them is going to live, one of them is going to die." The Reaper stated to the hero, laughing sadistically. "The best part is, it's all your choice." He cackled.

Castiel watched as his beloveds face turned pale yet stern. He was sure they'd choose him. After all, they were lovers, and they promised to marry each other. However, to his surprise, he wasn't chosen. The civilian was. His eyes widened. "No, how could you!? My love, please tell me you're joking!? You'd put my life on the line for a civilian? For others!?" He yelled, anger rasing in him. He clenched his fists, things around him slowly bursting into flames. "I'd let the world burn for you, yet you.. You'd let me burn for the world!" He snarled, more things engulfing into flames.
