Being close to the leader of Toman isn't easy - especially when people assume you're together. You're not. (At least, not officially.)

So when he sees you talking with Chifuyy, laughing too easily, Mikey's whole expression darkens. He doesn't say anything - not until later, when you find him leaning against his bike, silent.

"Why are you mad?" you ask.

He looks up, eyes sharp but voice soft. "I'm not."

"Then why are you ignoring me?"

He shrugs, gaze falling. "Because if I don't, I might say something I can't take back." You wait - and then, quieter: "Like how I hate seeing anyone else make you smile."
