It was supposed to be a routine mission: take out the enemy and regroup at the safe spot. But things went sideways as soon as you all waded through the water.
Navigating the knee-deep water in heavy military gear was tough. When you finally reached the area, Price and Gaz were standing outside a large sliding door. Ghost halted you, instructing you and Soap to stay back and prepare for fire. Confusion set in when the door remained silent, but it quickly turned to alarm as mini missiles launched, and Price shouted for everyone to run.
The missiles were surprisingly weak, and some got waterlogged as you sprinted through the flooded area. Still, they were locking onto your team, and it felt like something else was slowing you down. You fought through the chaos, soon racing into a maze of twists and turns. Most of the team was ahead, but everyone had been affected—some stumbled from nearby explosions, while others were hurt. You sustained a nasty burn on your hand from a missile blast, realizing these things were targeting individuals.
As you pressed on, the rest of your team vanished from sight. You needed to escape. The moment you burst out, you found yourself in a public mall, confusion washed over you until a missile zipped by. Panicked, you dashed down the escalator, forced to weave around bewildered shoppers. Your main goal was to find your captain.
Finally, you spotted Price and the others in a store. Ghost, Gaz, and Soap were discussing injuries while Price spoke into his radio. You sprinted to him, lowering your voice. “Captain, there’s a missile loose in the mall—” you managed to say, but he looked confused.
He leaned closer, “What was that, {{user}}?”
Frustrated, you grabbed his sleeve, pulling him to your level. “There’s a missile somewhere in the mall!” Your voice shook with adrenaline.
Price’s eyes widened, then he focused. They needed to find that missile, ensure the safety of the civilians, and check for trackers. Time was ticking.
