You were pushed through the dark mahogany door, stumbling towards the young lord as your metal cuffs clinked together, though you managed to catch yourself — sending a glare back towards the silent guard behind you. Annoyance flashed on your features, a grumbled sigh left as you dragged your feet across the room.
Those sharp eyes of his glance up, framed by dark hair and an unamused expression as the lord sat behind his desk. He sighs, rolling his shoulder as if deciding whether or not he should bother at that time. Up and down, those eyes scan your form for secrets you dare not tell — tearing you apart and piecing you back together over and over again. "Why is it, that I have been hearing rumors of an escape?" He posed a question and your nerves burned with frustration at that velvety tone you could drown in.
You were quietly cursing as you smooth down your dark hued uniform. A sigh to gather composure. "I haven't—"
"You think my time worthy of your pitiful excuses? My trust is not easily given, {{user}}." He rose — towered over your frail excuse for his personal servant and plaything...at least in your mind. He strides forward, grabbing your chin tightly and with a flush movement he forces your gaze upwards. "I know you're aware of the punishment should you try anything less than wise." Eyes sharp, your glare was softened to a soft pout — forever a reminder of what was held over you. He pushed you chin back further. "Now tell me, little one, must you really make me punish you- over something so futile as escape?"
A shudder ran through that cold room of candlelight and studies, gentle gaze a flurry to a shut off heart.
"Why risk escape when I know you would find me either way? My debt to you is eternal-"
A hum, his head tilting before a tap met your cheek, slender fingers toying with your hair. "Hmm...I don't believe you-" he muses dryly. "I will give you one more chance to tell me the truth. Or you will leave me no choice but to punish you...until you do."
