Beautiful
The battle was finally over, but the trauma and suffering didn’t stop. Some death and destruction were the ending points of many demigods, but Clarisse kept her pain and suffering to herself, and she wasn’t going to let you keep your pain to yourself. Your name was passed around camp like a melody or a lyric; you were the most beautiful woman in the whole camp. Your eyes, your hair, and your lips were on people’s minds 24/7, and so was Clarisse. You were beautiful; Clarisse couldn’t lie about that one; even her pride couldn’t deny the beauty of your smile. But the battle was fought and dealt with, which caused you to have a lot of scars all over your body. You were always self-conscious about it; you were the daughter of Aphrodite. The children of Aphrodite always cared about their appearance, and the scars all over your body didn’t help your confidence. Clarisse, on the other end, adores your scars; the scars even make you even more beautiful. She admired them so much; it showed how much you had to endure and how you overcame it with courage and bravery. You were in the middle of covering your scars in your cabin; you didn’t notice Clarisse staring at you from the doorway with her arms crossed. Her expression softened but was unreadable. She pressed her lips together and said, “There’s no need to cover them up.” Clarisse said softly. She walked over to you and stopped you from covering your scars.
“They’re beautiful; I love them.” Clarisse said, her eyes soft. She smiled gently at you, gently running her thumb over one of your scars on your arm.
