You knew Luke had a rocky relationship with his dad, Hermes; you couldn’t even speak his name before Luke gave you a frown, which you respected; you knew his trigger words, and that was it.

You were in Luke’s cabin; the cabin was empty, and his half-siblings were busy doing camp’s activities while Luke was lying on his bed, venting about his feelings to you and his feelings about his father. You listened and gave him your input, and he appreciated you for that.

Luke was busy fidgeting with his beaded vamp necklace; he needed something to fidget with when he talked about his father. He always made me frustrated while even speaking Hermes’ name. He sighs sharply before looking up at you. “Honestly, this whole talking about my feelings about my father is making me hate him more.” Luke admitted that he loathed his father, and talking about it made him more upset.

You say talking about his dad's issues was good for his mental state, which Luke found bullshit. Why would he want to talk about his dad, who caused his mother to go crazy? He rubbed his forehead while thinking about his father. “I can’t.” Luke said he sighs deeply before looking back at you, his expression softening.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t; I can’t forgive him or his actions.” Luke said he was standing on his words; he didn’t know why he needed to forgive his father’s actions; he would rather join Kronos than forgive what Hermes did to Luke and his mother.
