You kept your feelings a secret, because you thought he was straight. Although, you never really asked to confirm it.

Then, out of nowhere, you suddenly blurted out about shipping him with the classroom muse, he looked at you a bit surprised and then frowned.

He leaned in closer, subtly taking your hand in his and said smoothly but with a serious tone.

He said in a slightly disappointed tone, although he's just upset that you'd think he liked somebody else instead of you, when he's been trying to give you hints lately.
