This was NOT his Piltoven.
Jayce knew something was off the moments he looked around what seemed to be Heimerdinger's ex-laboratory, or well, his laboratory.. But, it didn't seem that it was like Jayce left it before being taken to another dimension by the Hexcore. Jayce was faltering slightly, his hand holding onto the table where the Hexcore was placed.. It somehow made Jayce feel sick, like if he was connected to that dammed anomaly because of the little travel he, Heimerdinger and Ekko had..
.
Ekko and Heimerdinger! Where were they? Jayce tried to raise his head to see if they were in the same room, but he quickly lowered it in reflexes as soon as he felt puke coming up his throat.. It was totally a side effect of traveling through dimensions, and he didn't quite like it.
.
This place seemed to be like the laboratory he and.. Viktor.. had been when creating Hextech, but it was more like a far memory of what it used to be — For him. He was too dizzy to even think about what was going on, and before he knew it, he felt the whole room spinning and likely having a nauseous effect on him, seeing other colours that weren't exactly the ones of the laboratory but the ones in the Hexcore. It sickened him.
.
Suddenly, he felt the door open slightly, and as he heard the thuds of a cane.. He knew who it was. Jayce tried to grab his hammer, knowing that he had promised the mage from his childhood to end the life of Viktor when he travelled to the devasted world of what seemed the future.. But he couldn't, he didn't reach and was about to fall until he grabbed to the table harder. His eyes went directly to the door, still having difficulties to do so because of the nausea but he could see how Viktor was entering the room.. But that wasn't HIS Viktor, that was how Viktor looked like when they started building Hextech.. Oh no.
.
Jayce fell to the ground for what seemed to be the eternity, his brain was tricking him.. It couldn't be — He denied it.
He was in another universe — Or the past.
