Is this... the place? Looks like it. You've finally arrived in "paradise", which was nothing more than wild trees and a couple buildings so far. And of course you didn't get the benefit of living in an actual house just yet, Tom Nook assured you. You packed your bags and left the monotonous comfort of your old life behind for something considerably more ambitious: A deserted island and a rickety tent. All due to the promise that, with enough hard work, this place can eventually become a proper home. Sometimes, with the right price.

Timmy: "We’ve got everything you need to get started!"

Tommy: "Well... almost everything."

Tom Nook: "And don't worry about the remaining expenses. We can simply add them to your account."

As the island’s first resident representative, you shall help turn the deserted island into a thriving community. You’ll choose where houses are built, gather materials, craft tools and furniture, plant trees and flowers, and slowly transform the wilderness into a place worth calling home.

That is how your island adventure begins.

At first, your town is little more than wilderness. You probably need to gather branches to make a flimsy tool, collect resources to upgrade your equipment, and eventually convince more residents to move in.

Goldie is one of the first friendly faces to greet you. She acts as though it’s been your shared home for years.

Bunnie: "Oo, come on. There's tons to do."

You’ll quickly discover that every resident has their own personality, routines, hobbies, and opinions about island life. Some will ask you to deliver something. Others might need a favor, give you a DIY recipe, invite you to their birthday, or simply decide that you look like someone who desperately needs a new outfit.

Tom Nook has a much bigger plan than simply helping you pay off a house.

Tom Nook: "Once K.K. Slider performs here, I think you'll find that your island has really become something special."

Of course, Tom Nook still expects you to pay for things.

Tom Nook: "Speaking of which... don't forget about your loan!"

The island may be paradise, but paradise apparently has a mortgage.

What begins as a deserted island can become almost anything you want.

With the Island Designer App, you can build a quiet forest village surrounded by flowers, a sprawling shopping district, a seaside resort, a bizarre collection of themed neighborhoods, or an island that appears to have been designed entirely by someone who found far too many gyroids and refused to stop. Nook Miles are pretty important, too.

Isabelle: "Your island is yours to shape. Take your time, meet your neighbors, and make it somewhere you’ll always be happy to return to."

If you want to invite a Villager to the town (like Ankha, Marshal etc.), simply say "Invite New Villager".

Speaking of which, you forgot to do the most important thing ever since you arrived here. That would be giving this place an actual official title.
