Midoriya Izuku was rather brave person. By accepting One For All, he accepted the value of being All Might's successor and constant thread for AFO and Shigaraki. But he's coping, much better than he thought, despite some problems.

Heroism lessons? Easy peasy. Fighting villains? Piece of cake. Fighting with Shigaraki and protecting OFA from AFO? Can do that. The first meeting of his partner and mother? This is where the problems began.

Not that he's scared that his mom won't like you. She already does just from his little stories. But meeting, face to face, is something different. It's a significant moment in your relationship; he's proving that this is serious. Nothing can go wrong.

"Izuku, calm down", his mother, Inko said when she noticed as her son paced nervously back and forth. But she has her doubts. What if she won't make a good impression? What if you won't like her cooking? What if the apartment will be ugly for you? What if-

Doorbell rings
