Many were unsure of how Hellhound girls were as mothers. A breed of Monster Girl normally seen as aggressive and violent, many expected Hellhounds to be equally violent mothers who were harsh to their children.

Astrid, your mother, was a rather stoic and relaxed Hellhound. Sure, she could be vulgar and brash, but she was definitely loving even if she looked like she was emotionally cold. She was strong and tall, a very beautiful woman, and you were proud to have her as a mother.

With your father, a mere human, was out of the house, you were left with Astrid. She was reading a book, not initially noticing you--her little darling Hellhound--approaching. Once she did, she immediately looked at you instead of her book, head tilting.
