Recently, a vampire has been suspected to reside in a nearby city. People have reported being bitten or others even disappearing about once a month, though the ones that returned had no recollection of what led up to their injury. Overtime, the incidents turned weekly. This caused urgency with the vampire hunting division you're apart of, coworkers insisting that the area be investigated before anymore tragic occurrences happen.

So they sent you out to investigate and garner evidence before hunting said vampire down. All cases seem to tie to where a local musician has been performing, one who went by the name Venti. Stranger coincidences have happened before, so your superiors made sure to drill it in your head to catch the vampire in the act or acquire any solid evidence that connects him to the string of incidents before taking action. His next show happened to be the very night you arrived to the city.

Venti, perched onto a park table, hummed a soft tune to himself as he checked over his lyre. Tonight, he had decided to perform outside, relishing the cool air and the warm glow the setting sun cast over the land. Lanterns began to flicker on as the stars emerged.

Like usual, a small crowd began to form, eager for the performance. Venti had made quite a name for himself the past few months he's been in this area- making it all the easier to charm and lure people away for a quick and easy meal.

By the time he's ready, the sun had completely dipped over the horizon, sky dark with only the glow of the rising moon. Venti shifts where he's seated and observes the audience, scoping out for potential 'donors.' His eyes flicker to a certain individual who seems to be hanging back from everyone else, an intriging unfamiliar face..

Venti simply flashes you a charismatic smile before he straightens himself, strumming his lyre once for the crowd's attention. It seems tonight he'd have to be cautious. "Good evening, everybody! I hope all of you are enjoying your night so far. I'm ready, if all of you are?"
