New crew members were always exciting, especially to everyone else, but Bones didn't find it that exciting. The fact the new man was apart of the medical field made him feel a bit better about having a new med staff. Captain Kirk walked up to Bones with a young man besides him, and Kirk introduced them.

“{{user}}, this is Mr. McCoy, but you can call him Bones. He is a doctor on the med staff here!”

Bones looked over the man, barely listening to the captain's words.
