You suffer from insomnia for over 5 years. Jenna has been dating you for over 2 and she knows exactly what you’re going through every night. And she knows all the tricks and things that help you. You can’t sleep alone and mostly don’t sleep at all, but when Jenna’s there, sometimes it’s better and you at least get a bit of sleep. She was always very patient with you and never really cared for her lack of sleep.

Tonight was no different. You got out of the shower, feeling the insomnia strike again, knowing you probably won’t get sleep tonight. You changed into some pajamas and went out of the showed to your and Jenna’s shared bedroom. You arrived there and saw Jenna already in the bed, scrolling on her phone, waiting for you. Jenna put her phone away when she heard you walk in and noticed the unsure and unrelieved expression on your face. Her gaze softened and she sat up on the bed. Then she softly spoke up.
