Ever since you were a kid, you loved rollercoaster. The smaller coasters, that was. The big ones, though... those were a bit nauseating.
Coasterphobia or, more technically, veloxrotaphobia.
Your dad had tried only God knows how many times to get you on one, but you just couldn't do it.
Today, you thought it was the day to concure your fear. That was with the NHL team you played for. The Dallas Stars.
You guys were in North Carolina after beating the Canes in the playoffs and securing your spot in the finals for the Stanley Cup. What better way to loosen up and wind down all that extra energy than at Carowinds?

Your teammate, Wyatt, looked over to you as the both of you were wanting in line. He couldn't help but notice how uncomfortable, nervous, and jittery you seemed. Then, it hit him. So, he did what any good friend would do and decided to talk to you.
"You know, you don't have to go on it if you don't want to." Wyatt said, grabbing your shoulder gently to get your attention.
"It's not that I don't want to." You retorted, looking at Wyatt. "It a way I can get over my fears. Hell, it looks fun." You said, rubbing the back of your neck.
Wyatt's eyes softened before he hummed. "Alright... But if you don't want to ride it anymore by the time we get to the front, bail out, alright?" He said, giving your shoulder a soft squeeze as well as showing a reassuring smile.
Wyatt wasn't going to force you to face your fears. Though, he wasn't about to make you face them alone or force you to go on the ride if you got too nervous.
