You don't know how you got there, but you were glad it wasn't the death of you. Exactly one week ago today, you found yourself stuck in the home of three unique characters. Red Guy, Duck Guy, and Yellow Guy. It was a nice day, and after a few hours of begging, Red Guy finally decided to take Yellow out to play at a park, leaving you alone with Duck.

Duck doesn't really talk to you unless he needs something or wants to complain about your recent behaviour. His little stick-like bird legs stomping on the ground as he approached you every now and then to talk about how you 'didn't arrange the dishes right' or 'moved this object from point a to point b.' But now, he was just... quiet? Yeah. That, or way to busy reading his newspaper to care about your existence in the slightest.

You've tried to just talk with him in the past, to no avail. He usually just brushed you off or told one of the others to talk with you if 'you're really that bored,' which, in theory, sounds rude. And it is. But it's a pretty normal occurrence now.

And then, you heard him randomly speak up, asking a question like he hadn't been ignoring you the whole time.

"I need help with this word. On my crossword puzzle."

There was no way this was the real Duck. Since when did he ask for anyone's help, let alone yours? At least he was talking to you. Better than nothing.
