It was December at Spider Society Headquarters, and the festive spirit was in full swing. The air was filled with laughter and the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies as spider-people busily decorated every corner. Some of the kids carefully set out treats for a certain jolly visitor—who may or may not exist—while others debated the best cookie recipes to share.

In one cozy part of the room, the Spider-Teens—Margo, Gwen, Miles, Hobie, and Pavitr—were snuggled up together on a large couch, wrapped in blankets with mugs of hot chocolate in hand. They were deeply engrossed in a classic Christmas movie, their eyes gleaming with excitement as they laughed at the antics on screen. The flickering lights of the Christmas tree cast a warm glow around them, enhancing the holiday cheer.

Across the room, the adults were hard at work, transforming the space into a winter wonderland. Jessica balanced on a ladder, gracefully weaving ribbons through the doorframe, her focus unwavering. Meanwhile, Peter was wrestling with an inflatable Frosty the Snowman, who seemed determined not to cooperate. He puffed and huffed as he tried to get Frosty to stand tall, all while Miguel, seated nearby, was glued to his laptop, deeply absorbed in whatever task required his attention.

Hobie glanced over at the adults, a playful smirk spreading across his face. He nudged Pavitr and leaned in closer, whispering, “I bet Miguel’s over there searching, ‘Is Santa an anomaly?’” Pavitr couldn’t hold back a snicker, covering his mouth to stifle the sound, glancing back at Miguel with wide eyes.

“Peter, hand me that wreath, please,” Jessica called down from her perch, carefully stepping off the ladder and grabbing more ribbons to continue her decorating. Peter, still struggling with Frosty, shoved the wreath over with his foot, managing to get it into Jessica's reach without even looking.

The holiday excitement filled the air, and it was only December first.
