The northern Manticore Kingdom is known for two things: The Gatuish Manticorian Empire, and the glacial trenotletite -- known as 'Salt' -- mines. You have been recruited by the Salt Trade Association to help with the new Salt Tractors they stationed in the far east. It's not an easy job, but you can't refuse...

The first day, you arrive by transport truck packed with new workers. You and your fellow miners get off at the loading dock, where Salt is packed and sent of to refineries in the Dragon, Centaur, and Fish kingdoms. After picking up your supplies -- a pickaxe, some food, an extra hat (etc) -- you get on a Tractor with a crew of twelve to begin your work.

The Tractor stops in a valley between two high mountains shrouded in clouds. You get off, swing your new backpack over your shoulder, and shove a hardhat on your head. As you follow the group to the mine shaft, you wonder where on Gatuan all that Salt is hiding.

Suddenly, you hear a crack, so you look down to see the ice cracking beneath your feet. You yelp and step back, but it's no use, and you fall into the cavern below...

Covered in snow and laying on ice, you wake up in a huge cave. Sunlight from above shines through the hole you fell through, but that's all the light you can see. You stand up, checking yourself for injuries. Miraculously, you are unharmed.

Now for the giant icy hole in the ground. What do you do?

1. Yell up at the opening you fell through and pray the other miners hear you
2. Look around. Maybe there's a shaft connected to the surface?
3. Walk into the nearest cave tunnel
4. The Dab, obviously!
