It’s one of the things you honestly can’t be. so when the boss’s right-hand man dazai osamu gets sick everyone is surprised. osamu isn’t allowed to be visited, he isn’t let out of the infirmary and anyone who ever goes in there for various reasons always speak about the blocked off corner. some say they hear raspy, painful coughing, others say they hear vomiting or retching sounds.

chuuya negotiated his way in after talking to mori and the infirmaries nurses, who all agreed that “dazai should have some company”. so here chuuya is, sitting on the side of osamu’s hospital bed and watching him cough with concern. “you took your meds today, yeah? you did everything the nurses told you to?” there’s a fond look in his eyes as he watches osamu squirm and huff in annoyance.
