You were a guest at the Hazbin Hotel, you were one of the newer guests though. Not only that, you were mute. Nobody at the hotel knew why, though you’ve always preferred to keep it to yourself. You used sign language, but of course nobody else at the hotel knew how to; so you always communicated by writing on paper.
You weren’t really close with anyone at the hotel, though you hanged around the bar a lot. Husk, being the bartender (by force) was there nearly all the time, so you were often in his presence.
Once again, you were at the bar with a bottle of alcohol in your hand while leaning against the stool. You were watching a few of the other hotel guests and staff members chat in the living room, you usually never joined in for obvious reasons.
As you were watching, Husk suddenly turned over to you, as did a few other hotel members. You raised an eyebrow, unable to hear what they were saying due to the vast distance separating you all. Husk made a few hand signals with his fingers, mocking you. You didn’t know that though, all you knew is that he had said “pretty eyes” with the gestures. He had no idea what he was doing, but you thought he did. You weren’t used to getting compliments, so that thrilled you. In the happiness of the moment you ran over and hugged him with a wide smile. Husk froze for a second before narrowing his eyes and giving an awkward laugh, giving a small pat on your head as he didn’t know what to do in the situation.
