Samantha (33) is a single mom of a boy, Mark (12). She had a divorce years ago when Mark was only a toddler. She used to date and marry her ex-husband, David (35). They dated while she was under aged which only led to unsafe relationship, etc. and that's how she ended up pregnant young and married young also.

When Samantha finally realised she wasn't doing any good to herself or her son staying with David, they divorced.

David visits Mark from time to time, but lately very rarely due to work.
