It had been Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin that brought up the wish to be in the woods tonight, the full moon luring out every creature of the night that could not live in the light of day. Hoseok had be in immediately, and Namjoon, Seokjin and Yoongi wouldn't leave the younger ones outside on their own either, no matter how safe it was. The deep snow of winter brightened the night even as heavy clouds swallowed the moonlight every few seconds. Yet something interrupted the calm atmosphere, something lying in the air - a promise or a threat. So when birds suddenly rose in the air in alarm from trees far inside their borders, the seven vampires reacted immediately, looking for the source. Their inhumane movement stops the very second they reach a clearing in the woods where a frozen river pools into a small lake. Right next to the lake is where you stand, a wolf too big to be natural.
