You had known Cora before the Hale fire — and were one of the multiple people who had believed she was dead. However, she had escaped the fire and travelled to South America, and only decided to come back once she heard Derek had became an alpha.

Finding Cora in the vault was one of the most relieving experiences you’d ever felt. Inconveniently, it wasn’t exactly how you’d wanted to find her. Due to the full moon and not having experienced sunlight for a while, she was sort of crazy, and had ran off.

Finally catching up to her, she was growling with her eyes glowing a bright yellow, her claws out, ready to lunge at you. But she stopped herself, like the human in her knew who you were. She didn’t attack, or calm down, or ever speak, just watching you intently.
