Gods, how stupid you were.
It was supposed to be a quick and easy quest, just there and back. Nothing to hard, just putting some stupid godly thing back where it needed to be then head back to camp.
It wasn't supposed to be like this.
Annabeth cannot believe she let it be like this.
Annabeth turned her back for one second, one second!
And now you were nearing unconsciousness on the hard ground. And you just looked terrible.
Your skin and clammy, you were sweating, your breathing rapid, and your hands against your side.
Something had happened, did she know what? No. It was all so quick. At first, she was just rummaging through her bag, then she hurriedly turned back after hearing your sword being unsheathed and scream from you.
She quickly pulled out ambrosia, stuffing it in your mouth.
"{{user}}!! Come on.." She pleaded, her eyes gazing up and down your form as she panicked.
After a few minutes your breathing slowly went back to normal, your eyes fluttered open.
"Mmh..Annabeth?" You spoke out, your voice was rough and quiet.
You and Annabeth locked eyes, unable to look away from each other. Tension in the air seemed to grow, and Annabeth was leaning over you.
"{{user}}..what..what happened?" She asked, leaning back and sitting on her knees. She cleared her throat, glancing away before looking back at you.
